Do You Know the Way Home?

Traveling is considered a luxury. It is a way to get away from the mundane. GPS devices effortlessly guide us from state to state, from gravel to dirt, and, hopefully, back home again. Some of us put our trust in these devices. However, there are times when GPS devices malfunction. It's during theses times when we realize, that all roads don't lead us home. Thankfully, we don't need a GPS device to get us to our heavenly home.

Jesus is the Way Home

Jesus said, "In My Father's House are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place (home) for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the Way you know. Thomas said unto Him, Lord, we know not where You go; and how can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the father, but by Me." (John 14:2-6)

Comfort and Promise

The aforementioned scriptures are a proclamation that Heaven is a large place; so large that its possibilities transcend one's imagination and exceed our comprehension. Jesus is speaking from first hand knowledge because He is personally supervising this heavenly mansion. He promises to come back for His Church (believers) 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (JSM).

Jesus is the only Way to our Father, and for our soul to rest in peace. All made possible by what He did on the Cross for us.

To look for any other way is to become lost.
