If you want to understand more about who God is, research His history, study His Word, you'll get to know Him. Then you may be lead by Him, and, with confidence, speak His Truth.
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
