Never Leave Home Without It

There are so many tangible things in this life that one may never feel safe leaving home without. Which include identification cards, cell phones, money, credit cards, medical cards, house, and or car keys. Those things may even be at the top of the 'never leave home without it' list, but they provide one with a false sense of security. Unfortunately, there seems to be more value placed on things that make us feel safe, than on seeking to protect one's spiritual well-being.

How Do You Protect Your Spiritual Well-Being?

Spiritual well-being involves one's mental, emotional, and physical health. To be spiritually well one has to develop a healthy self esteem and connection with those around him. He has to believe in the spiritual and have faith in God. Spirituality and Faith affords one with a way to see things differently in order that he does not dwell on his circumstances. One must never leave home without God's Armor.

Never Leave Home Without the Whole Armor of God

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;(Ephesians

6:11-18)

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you (John 14:18).
