Jesus is the Solid Rock
Jesus Christ is the Solid Rock. He is thee only One that man can put all of his hope, and trust in and not lose. It is because Jesus sacrificed His life for ours that we can trust Him. "Greater Love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). We are God's friends, if we keep His commands. "You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you ( John 15:14).
What is the command
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself (Mathew 22:36-39).
"Anyone who listens to My teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won't collapse because its built on bedrock. (Mathew 7:24-25)
Trials and Tribulations
Life is filled with swift transitions, trials and tribulations which, at times, may become overwhelming. However, with our hope, faith, and trust built on nothing less than what God teaches we will survive and conquer. No one can stand against the Lord and no one will. Nothing can separate us.
Nothing Can Separate Us From God's Love
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He Who spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all , how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Who shall separate us from the Love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:31-32, 35, 38-39)
