God Is Speaking
God has been, and is currently speaking to man. He speaks in many ways i.e. prophecy, visions, and dreams. Even the heavens declare His Glory (Psalm 19). We have experienced God's miracles, and heard His Word so there is no escaping His truth.
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands (Hebrews 1:1-2, 10).
We Ought To Take Heed
We ought to take heed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and what He did on the Cross to redeem man back to God. We must abide in the Word in order to know, and allow God's truth to set us free from sin, and its illnesses (John 8:31-32). We either address our sins at the Cross, or in the judgement. If we don't repent, we have destroyed ourselves (Mathew 4:17).
"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
For if the word spoken by angels was stead fast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him (Hebrews 2:1-3).
Do You Want To Escape?
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13). While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation (Hebrews 3:15).
Repent. Come To Jesus Just as You Are; Weary, Wounded, and Sad. He Can and Will Deliver and Set You Free.
