The Unknown God

No matter what region of the world that man resides, there’s something within that causes him to desire to worship God. Man is connected to God by his spirit. However, sin renders man ignorant to who God is, so he worships only that which he can see and touch. No one has ever seen God but the Son which is the One closet to Him (John 1:18). He is the unknown God; the One Who does not dwell in temples made with hands.

God Is Spirit

"God Who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and Earth, dwells not in Temples made with hands. Neither is worshiped with man's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things. And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. That they should seek the Lord if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.... (Acts 17:24-28).

Because God is Spirit, He is never far from ours. He is the source of all life, and we must worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

Jesus Is Lord

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:6-7).
