The Cross

Updated: Apr 2, 2021

The Cross is at the center of, and, what the Bible has alluded to from the beginning of time. It is what the Church was, and is, founded on; Christ Finished Work. The Cross is where Wisdom is found. It redefines power in the Kingdom. Jesus become a servant of all. Jesus crucifixion on the Cross displayed strength through weakness, as He did not exploit his power. The Cross is where mankind was redeemed, and thereby Jesus Christ exalted as ruler of all; Jesus Is Lord and Savior

The Cross

The Cross is where Christ emptied Himself as an example of what His followers aught to do. Although Christ waived His rights and Humbled Himself to become man subjecting Himself to death, He never lost His Deity. The Cross was meant to disgrace and degrade. However, the price paid was Christ's blood shed that redeemed mankind, making Him Lord and Savior. All God's creation will pay homage to Christ Jesus; acknowledging the Father.

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 5:11).

Jesus; The Way, The Truth, and The Life

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
