Change is to make different in some particular way; alter, from the traditional or usual. To change is to take a different position, course, or direction to. Why Change?
You Change Because You Have Learned A Lot
Man can learn one of two ways. The first is through primary or rather first hand experiences. The second is through secondary or rather knowledge from those who have gone through. Whichever, when it comes to sin, there are many who opt for the primary because they don't believe that the experience will have the same effect on them as it did on their predecessor; those who have held the same rebellious position, they died. Lessons don't always have to be learned the hard way, yet so many of us are having to repeat the lesson because of rebellion; sin. So, Why not change?
You Change Because You Have Suffered Enough
Haven't you suffered enough? You are weary, wounded, and sad. You did all that you could to rebel. "What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death (Romans 6:21). You Change because, "...the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
You Change Because You Are Tired Of The Same Old Thing
You tried the rest, now try Jesus. You know change needs to take place. To change from rebellion to obedience is often hard, because man's tendency to rebel; sin has been so since the beginning of time. All are born in sin because of Adam's disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden. The Apostle Paul wrote, "I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me (Romans 7:21). The sin nature is always going to be there, but God has provided a way for man to overcome. How can you make the change?
How Can You Make The Change?
Repent; turn from your wicked ways. Believe in God, have Faith in Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit teach you the right way. Man doesn't know the right way. "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my [Jesus] name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). We are without excuse."Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin (James 4:17).
