Why Question God?

When will a man's good moral conduct matter? Why does it seem as if the enemy is prevailing? God, why are you, at times, silent? And Why does the path seem less clearer?

Why Question God?

Some may say that it is not good to question God, but I beg to differ. The aforementioned questions are just some of the questions that I have asked God, a time or two, along my journey. You cannot receive an answer without first posing a question. So I asked the question, When will a man's good moral conduct matter? I asked that question many of times.

"But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me (2 Corinthians 12:9).

I asked God, Why does it seem as if the enemy is prevailing? And God said,

"They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD (Jeremiah 1:19).

I also asked God, Why are you, at times, silent? And He said to me, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).

Then I asked, Why does the path seem less clearer? And God admonished me to,

“Go in through the narrow gate. The gate that leads to destruction is broad and the road wide, so many people enter through it. But the gate that leads to life is narrow and the road difficult, so few people find it (Mathew 7:13-14).

Be Encouraged! When You Need Answers, Ask God

“Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you (Mathew 7:7)
