Never be discontent with whatever your position is in life, because God has a plan for all of His children. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We may not understand God's ways, but we must trust Him.
God Has Other Plans For You
There are many things that one may want to do, or be, but God has other plans. God declares His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways (Isaiah 55:8). Just like Moses, when he was called, questioned, who am I that I should go? Take solace in knowing that when God chooses you, He is with you (Exodus 3:11-12). You, or others, may think that you are not capable for the task that God has ordained for you, whatever it may be. Nevertheless, God reminds us not to worry about what people mat say, nor be dismayed because of unforeseen roadblocks. God encourages His children to "be strong and courageous, not to be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord our God goes with us; he will never leave us nor forsake us.”(Deuteronomy 31:6).
No Matter The Position, The Purpose Of The Task Is The Same
No matter the position, the purpose of the task is the same "Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Mathew 28:20). You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you (John 15:16).
God's Purpose
God purposed before the foundation of the world that Jesus Christ be supreme, and that His creation be Holy and Glorify Him. His purpose is that man repent, follow Christ Jesus, and share in His sufferings. That man may know and abide in Him, in order that man be conformed to Christ's life and do His will. That man love, and trust in Him above everything. We are purposed to be God's witnesses to His absolute, irrevocable, sovereignty. We must know and preach all of God's Word, by-which the works of the devil are destroyed.
"For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building (1 Corinthians 3:9).
