There is nothing we can do to earn Salvation. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are not to suppose that we deserve more for our time as disciples of Jesus Christ, than our brothers who have and will come after us. God does not show favoritism. He will accept every nation that fear Him, and work righteousness (Acts 10:34-35). If you accept Jesus Christ now, you will receive the same gift as your fellows who have accepted Him in times past i.e. Eternal Life
"Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee (Mathew 20:14). For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
