In order to Love God, one must obey Him.

To Love And Obey God

The Word of God must be the criteria for all things in a man's life, if he love God. God created man in His image, He gave man the breath of Life (Genesis 2:7). One should respect, honor, and fear God for all He has done, continues to do, and will do. We know where disobedience leads when we disobey our earthly parents. God is our Father Who has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that they should repent; Why will yourself to die? (Ezekiel 33:11). Man has a choice. Life or Death, Heaven or Hell. "The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent (2 Peter 3:9). Love God with all heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself; this is the great commandment (Mathew 22:36-40).

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
