There are so many who want to see you fall. No! You haven't done anything wrong, in fact you are doing everything right, you are being obedient to God. When you tell people God's truth, it hurts. No one wants to hear that their needs to be a change in their way of living; lifestyle, especially professed Christians. No matter what, spread the Gospel.
Do The Work Of An Evangelist
No matter the inconvenience, Christians must take a stand for Christ. To preach the Word of God is a most important responsibility, and is the responsibility of every believer, not just in the pulpit. We must be prepared for, courageous in, and sensitive to the opportunities that God gives us to spread His Good News in any situation. Know that many will not want to hear.
Don't Be Discouraged
Don't be discouraged. Everyone is not going to want to hear what the Word of God has to say about their life. Remember, the Word rebukes, corrects, teaches, and trains (2 Timothy 4:16). It is difficult to accept correction. There will be teachers, preachers and others who will oppose the true knowledge of the Gospel. Many don't really want knowledge because it is power they seek after. The Bible says that they will turn their ears away from the truth despising sound doctrine for myths (2 Timothy 4:3-4). Keep your cool, and keep your head.
Keep Your Cool
When people try to discourage you from preaching the Word of God, don't react too quickly. Whenever you take on a work for the Lord, you will be tried , opposed, ostracized and the like. You will be told that you are a nobody, people will ask for your credentials, and try to make you feel as if they have more of an enlightenment or anointing on their lives. Its only because they have succumb to their own, and others, points of view to suffice their own selfish desires. Such people have huge followings because they tell people what their itching ears want to hear. God is your credential. You, keep a clear mind in every situation, be morally alert to temptation, resistant to pressure, and be vigilant when faced with heavy responsibilities because the adversary wants to devour you (1 Peter 5:8).
A Charge To Keep
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Timothy 4:1-5)
