To Lose Is To Gain

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:34-36, Mathew 16:24-26).

What Will It Profit You?

What a man loses in this life for the sake of the Gospel, is nothing compared to what he will gain in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:8). No matter how much one earns, eats, drinks, or accumulates, he will never be full or warm. Nothing will suffice (Haggai 1:6). "But my God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). To lose is to gain.

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15)
