No more bribes to be given or taken for one's spiritual freedom. No works to perform, no economic status to reach, no nepotism, no hierarchies, no cliques to join, and no being a respecter of certain persons; no more brown nosing to save your soul. Jesus paid the price for your soul, and He did it once and for all.
Dead To Sin, Alive To God
"For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16). For the death that He [Jesus] died, He died to sin [ending its power and paying the sinner’s debt] once and for all; and the life that He lives, He lives to [glorify] God [in unbroken fellowship with Him]. (Romans 6:10) You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:20). For indeed Christ died for sins once for all, the Just and Righteous for the unjust and unrighteous [the Innocent for the guilty] so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit (1 Peter 3:18).
Prayer
Father God, I am grateful for your love shown toward us. Thank you for your Son Jesus shedding His Blood for a sinner like me who deserved death in Hell, but instead received, by Faith, your Grace and Mercy making Heaven my future Eternal home. Amen!
