We Shall Not All Sleep

"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom (Mathew 16:27-28). Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

The Living Will Not Precede The Dead

We all have a future judgement when Christ Jesus returns. Everyone's life, believers and non-believers, will be reviewed and evaluated by God. The righteous will be delivered to eternal life with Jesus in Heaven, and the wicked condemned to eternal death with Satan in Hell. We cannot presume, by the way a person looks, to know who will be saved or condemned. Thankfully, God doesn't look at what people look at (1 Samuel 16:7).

In The Twinkling Of An Eye

The trump will sound as in the Old testament before the start of festivals, or extraordinary events. No one knows when Christ will return, but all will hear the trumpet sound. Many will be living it up; expecting to live a long life, then die. However, there be some that will never taste death (Mathew 16:28). Nevertheless, the living will not precede the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:15). And all of the world will see believers, dead and alive, transformed in the twinkling of an eye into glorified bodies.

We Shall Not All Sleep. "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'"(Romans 14:11).
