"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves (Mathew 10:16). "All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Mathew 10:22).
When you work for God you will be persecuted. That does not make you a doormat to be used and abused by whosoever will. Yes you are to be kind and loving to all, however you are also to be wise. Let your attitude be a balance between understanding and sound judgement guided by the Holy Spirit. Stand firm.
