This race called life is not a competition for those who want to win a temporary perishable crown, but an invite to those who will run and endure for the crown of life eternal in Christ Jesus. Praise your Creator God and worship His Son Jesus Who was sent [given] to die for our sins (John 3:16). Our main concern should be on where our souls will spend eternity, not on competing for temporary followers and selfish gain. We don't know when, how, or where we will take our last breath, but we do know where our souls will rest, if, we are in Christ Jesus.
Man Knows Not His Time
"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. For man also know not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it fall suddenly upon them (Ecclesiastics 9:11-12). Take heed! "You don’t really know about tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for only a short while before it vanishes (James 4:14).
Death Comes To All
Tell your kids and your Kids Kids about the promises and Grace of God favored to those who believe in Christ Jesus, before its too late. "For Sheol cannot praise or thank God, Death cannot praise God and rejoice in God; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for God's faithfulness. It is the living who give praise and thanks to God, as I do today; A father tells his sons about God's faithfulness (Isaiah 38:18-19). Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).
One True Life And One True Conduct
"A good name [earned by honorable behavior, godly wisdom, moral courage, and personal integrity] is more desirable than great riches; And favor is better than silver and gold.The rich and poor have a common bond; The Lord is the Maker of them all. A prudent and far-sighted person sees the evil [of sin] and hides himself [from it], But the naive continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin]. The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord Is riches, honor, and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the obstinate [for their lack of honor and their wrong-doing traps them]; He who guards himself [with godly wisdom] will be far from them and avoid the consequences they suffer. (Proverbs 22:1-5).
Renew Your Mind
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).
