We all have a tendency to be excited about a new day. As we should. Our first thought is 'let's get the day started. We check our schedules to see whats first on the days agenda. However, we often forget to ask God for His wisdom on how to live our days. Its a tragic misconception for one to believe he can truly live without God. If we are not truly living by the Word of God, then we are truly dying.
Don't Labor In Vain
God wants us to trust Him. He doesn't want us to depend on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Life outside of God's Word is a crooked one that leads to death. We believe that we are living our best life. However, if we are not trusting God in all our ways, we are not truly living at all.
God Should Always Be Top Priority
The only sure way to live your best life to the fullest and successfully, is to live it in God's Word and Way. Jesus is the way (John 14:6). For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Plant your faith roots deep in God's Word and He will show you the way that you are to go (Psalm 32:8). Let God's Word be stored up in your heart and it shall bring you many days, a full life, and well being (Proverbs 3:2). Trust God, put Jesus first, and start living.
'Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman wake but in vain (Psalm 127:1).
