Don't Run Walk

Fools Rush In

".... it is not good for a person to be without knowledge, And he who hurries with his feet [acting impulsively and proceeding without caution or analyzing the consequences] sins (misses the mark). The foolishness of man undermines his way [ruining whatever he undertakes];Then his heart is resentful and rages against the Lord [for, being a fool, he blames the Lord instead of himself (Proverbs 19:2-3 - AMP). Consider the consequences of not finishing what you start. We cannot blame God for our lack of knowledge or understanding.

Seek Wisdom

"Hear, O children, the instruction of a father, And pay attention [and be willing to learn] so that you may gain understanding and intelligent discernment. For I give you good doctrine; Do not turn away from my instruction. When I was a son with my father (David), Tender and the only son in the sight of my mother (Bathsheba), He taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live. Get [skillful and godly] wisdom! Acquire understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth (Proverbs 4:1-5). Seek Wisdom. Pray for discernment. Learn from God's Holy scripture (Bible). Also be willing to learn from Godly leaders. Pay attention and gain an understanding. Ask questions. It will better to know what to expect, than not know.

Consider The Cost

"For which one of you, when he wants to build a watchtower [for his guards], does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to finish it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is unable to finish [the building], all who see it will begin to ridicule him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish! (Luke 14:28-30 - AMP). We are told here not to start something we may be unable to finish. Jesus tells us to consider what it is that you are getting into. Consider not only what you will gain but also what you may lose. Do your homework. Research the matter. Study God's Word and listen to understand. Following Jesus is not only a blessing, but it is a commitment. A commitment that should keep you on track no matter what. By the way yo will be hated (John 15:18-27). Yes! God never promised us a problem free life (John 16:33). He did promise that whosoever will accept His Son Jesus' free gift of eternal life such a one shall not perish (John 3:16): "...the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13 - AMP). Don't run walk.

Always Praise God

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress free worry free day on purpose, and never stop believing Jesus paid it all. God wishes none to perish (2 Peter 3:9).
