God's - Riches - At - Christ's - Expense

"He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces, he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:3-5 NIV)

Pure Holiness Yet Considered a Man of Sorrows

First, let me start by saying Jesus is not any man. Jesus is not pitiful or unloved. Jesus is the Word of God. Man saw Him as such, and some still do, because man is full of darkness. The Word of God is His Grace that provides forgiveness, love, peace, power, sustenance, everything. His ways are infinite. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:1-5 KJV)"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14 KJV) Jesus is the Word begotten of the Father. He is by no means pitiful or unloved. He left His Holy place of majesty to come do His Father's will. Jesus acquainted Himself with all of our sin in order we not suffer eternal separation from Him in Hell. He took our death sentence. Jesus was afflicted for us. Jesus' Crucifixion paid for the Redemption of all humanity. Jesus came to save us; whosoever will believe by Faith. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8 KJV) That was His purpose, which pleased God, Who said '...This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17 KJV). God's abounding Grace.

"Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” But they did not understand what he was saying to them. (Luke 2:47-50 NIV)

A God of Wisdom

From the time of Jesus' youth, people were amazed. After many millennia, people are still amazed. His love and wisdom are infinite. We are told in the book of Proverbs 3:5 to "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. Man's understanding is finite, which is why God's Word (Holy Bible) is essential to our living, growth and sustenance in Him. His Word has the answer to EVERYTHING we'd ever need to know about God and His love for us: His redemption plan, and how to live for Him, enduring to the end, so we may live life Eternally as heirs with Christ. He owns everything. As heirs, we'll share in all of His everything. What a blessing! With man, this is impossible. Thankfully, with God, it's all possible. "For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37 KJV)

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19 KJV)

A God of Power

Jesus gives us Power via His Holy Spirit, which makes us His Children. We know we are God's children because "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:16-17 KJV). The same power that raised Jesus from the dead heals, transforms, and renews humanity to be reconciled back to God. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to endure until the end. He is our comforter Who intercedes for us when we pray, and when we cannot find the words to pray. Jesus' Holy Spirit is a wise guide Who only speaks and leads us to the Truth. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6) Jesus is the Grace of God.

Jesus said, “..My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2Corinthians 12:9 NIV)

A God of Grace

No matter what we go through in this life, God is a God of Grace. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17 KJV). We won't always understand why, but we can trust God. His Grace is sufficient. In our times of weakness, God through the Holy Spirit strengthens us. There is no mountain too high or valley too low where His love can't reach you. He can bless you in abundance right where you are. Don't worry. Praise God. Receive God's gift of Grace today. May "Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2Peter 1:2 NIV)

Always praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose. Never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
