When you are in need of prayer, stand up for yourself. Yes! God answers intercessory prayer. The prayers of the faithful and the righteous are necessary; they produce fruit (James 5:16). It is a privilege to come to God in prayer, however one will need to come to Him for yourself. Come just as you. God wants to hear from us.
God Wants To Hear From You
“For God so loved that world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). The first step is to believe the Word of God; Jesus is the Word. "And [He] the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not (Isaiah 58:11). We all have needs and God wants to hear them. "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
God Is a good God
"Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:9-11). Our Father, God, is a good God.
Pray Continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
