"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24) "Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips (Psalm 141:3)

How can We know if Our Walk and Words bring Honor to God's Name?

We can know if our walk and words bring honor to God's name through self examination, or rather via a spiritual check. The scriptures tell us in 2 Corinthians 13:5 to "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? Look for spiritual growth i.e. God's fruit, and awareness of God's presence and power. If you are lacking in the area of spiritual growth, or are in need of help with self examination, earnestly ask the Lord to search your heart and test your thoughts. God's Holy Spirit will point out the sin in your life so you may repent of it and be forgiven. God's Holy Spirit is the one who will lead you in the everlasting way of Jesus Christ (John 16:13,14:6). Do you need help minding your words.? I know the answer is yes. The tongue is an unruly part of the body that causes much damage as the power of life and death are there. No man can tame it (James 3:5-8, Proverbs 18:21) Only God, through the power of His Holy Spirit, can tame the tongue. Yes, Ask for help with this too. Ask God to put a guard over your lips (Psalm 141:3).

When our speech and walk are motivated by God and His Wisdom

Both our speech and walk, when motivated by God, are seasoned with mercy, love and consideration for others, Peace, submission, sincerity, impartiality, and most importantly righteousness. They will witness to others the fruit of God's Spirit within

"...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

When our speech and walk are motivated by Satan

When motivated by Satan, our speech and walk are full of bitterness, envy, selfish ambition, earthly concerns and desires, unspiritual thoughts and ideas, disorder...Evil

"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)

Praise God

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress free worry free day on purpose. Never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
