Live What You Know about God

“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 AMP. "If you address as Father, the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in [reverent] fear [of Him] and with profound respect for Him throughout the time of your stay on earth. For you know that you were not redeemed from your useless [spiritually unproductive] way of life inherited [by tradition] from your forefathers with perishable things like silver and gold, but [you were actually purchased] with precious blood, like that of a [sacrificial] lamb, unblemished and spotless, the priceless blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:17-19 AMP

You Were Brought with a Price

God loves us so much that He gave His only Son [Jesus] to be a sacrifice for us [John 3:16]. That is, Jesus took our place on the Cross. Unappreciated, He was considered unworthy to be King, even though He was well aware of our grief. Jesus was not only aware of our grief, He carried it. Jesus was without sin, yet He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our sin, injustice, and wicked ways. The punishment required for our well-being fell on Him; by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. [Isaiah 53:3-5]

Live What You Know about God

If you address God as Father, through Jesus Christ, reverence Him as such. [1 Peter 1:17-19] Be peculiar in Christ. “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. [Matthew 5:14-16]  "...you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. [1 Peter 2:9]   "When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, every hidden and secret thing, whether it is good or evil. [Ecclessiastes 12:13-14 AMP] If you believe in and trust in Jesus, Divine jugement is removed and you will live eternally with Him [John 3:16).
