You are not an Island
True love is not self serving. It is more giving of self. God taught us how to Love. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Don't be hypocritical in your loving. To love one another fervently is to share the God kind of love. The patient, caring, and pure kind (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). We are "....born-again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23 KJV).
