"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV).
Spiritually Blind
Many of us are so wrapped up in religion that we can no longer see spiritually. Too many of us are judging one another according to his/her own standards and based on the material things we see. If we continue in this way, no one will make it into heaven. Our time here on earth is short. We need to understand that we are not just now living in the last days, but have been since the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The time to get right with God is now.
Man Will not be Judged by His Looks
Its all about ones heart condition which only God sees ".... the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7 KJV). When a person judges another using his/her own standards of what he/she believes a righteous person should look like, or by any material thing, they will overlook the qualities that God admires. Only God knows the true character of a man. So, before we take it upon our-self to judge another remember the scripture tells us to "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). That is to say, mind yourself. Check yourself and see if there is anything in YOU that needs a tune up. You may discover that YOU are not all that YOU need to be in Christ. The time is and has been now for YOU to get right with God.
Our Identity is in Christ Jesus
"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3 KJV) The One and True Key to us knowing our self is our identity in Jesus Christ. His standards and thoughts of us are all that matters, not the world's. Jesus is the One Who adds value to our lives. Without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Mind Yourself
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, And perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, And let all thy ways be established before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.(Proverbs 4:23-27 KJV)
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress free worry free day on purpose, and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
