"..[I know that] you [who believe] are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My name’s sake, and that you have not grown weary [of being faithful to the truth]. But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me]. So remember the heights from which you have fallen and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will] and do the works you did at first [when you first knew Me]; otherwise, I will visit you and remove your lampstand (the church, its impact) from its place—unless you repent Revelation 2:3-5).
Get back to Where you First Believed
The devil will always tell you that you are not worthy, or God does not love you because you done did it this time. The devil is a liar and there will never be any truth in him. Don't give up and condemn yourself. God said to remember how you loved Him so much when you first believed. For some of us its been a long journey, but we can't give up now. Of course, it seems to be getting harder. The devil is not playing. Yes, he wants you dead; to share in his eternal hell. But God. “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16). So, you see ".... God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Now that does not mean continue in sin, No. Only, "Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities—sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God (Romans 6:13). Once you have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and are daily carrying your Cross to follow Him, no matter how heavy it seems to get, you are free ".... If the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free (John 8:36).
Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for giving us the gift of life through your only son Jesus Who sacrificed His life, conquering sin and death to save ours. Jesus, we pray that we lean on Your Holy Spirit Who You sent to comfort, guide, and teach us all things concerning You. Please create in us clean hearts and renew our spirit so that You receive all of the Glory out of our lives. It is in Your name Jesus we pray Amen!
Continue to praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all [everything] in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose, and never stop believing Jesus is paid it all and He is Lord.
