What Does God Want You To Believe?

"This is He who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three who bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three who bear witness on earth, the Spirit, the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son. He who believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he who believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the testimony that God gave of his Son. And this is the testimony: that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who hath the Son hath life; he who hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you who believe in the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:6-13).

God Wants You to Believe His Testimony

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). "This is He that came by water and blood, - Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth (1 John 5:6). "....by the mouth of two or three every word shall be established (2 Corinthians 13:1). These three witnesses testify together: the Spirit the water, and the blood. The water refers to the baptism of Jesus, the Spirit descending down on Him was God's validating how pleased He was in Jesus for the mission He came to accomplish (Matthew 3:13-17), and the blood testifies to the fact that Jesus sacrificed Himself on the Cross for the sins of the world (Matthew 27:45-54).

God Wants You to Believe that You Have Eternal Life

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:11). "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (John 17:3) "He who hath the Son hath life; he who hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:12-13).
