What Spills Out is What We Pour In

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 12:35-37, 7:20 KJV) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV)

Out of the Abundance of the Heart the Mouth Speaks Matthew 12:34

A person's character can be judged by what comes out of his mouth on a daily basis. It's easy to pretend by speaking lovely words at our jobs, and places of worship. However, when we're in and around elements or rather places we deem comfortable our manner of speaking changes revealing what's truly in our hearts. What's really going on in our hearts? God's Word says it is evil treasures in a person's heart that makes one speak in such an unfruitful way Matthew 12:35. We can only pretend for a time before what is truly in our hearts is revealed to all. Soon we all will see. Thankfully, our hearts can be purged.

Pray to God to Purge Us and Give Us a Clean Heart

When we pray for to God to give us a clean heart, we are asking Him to purify our thoughts, desires, intentions, and attitudes. God is full of Grace and Mercy, which we need both. We must come to Him with a sincere desire and willingness to change. We can surrender all of everything about us to God. We can come by Faith, "...but without faith it is impossible to please him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) The moment we truly believe and have faith that God can, we will be made whole.

Prayer

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. (Psalm 51:7-9 KJV)

Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. (Psalm 51:10-12 KJV)

Have Faith and Trust in God's Word

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16-18 KJV)

Jesus Christ is the Word: Our High Priest

Jesus Christ is the Word ' For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) Faith in Jesus and his finish work on the Cross is what we need. Jesus' shed blood redeems all whosoever will believe. Jesus purges us of all sin. He is our High Priest Who knows all about what plaques us. Jesus is Who we profess to be our Lord and Savior. "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV) Jesus said, "Iam the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever (John 14:15-16 KJV) Jesus' Holy Spirit will empower you to stay in the Way.

Praise God

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
