When God made me, I didn't come with smoking lights nor a grandstand
I only know that He now holds me in the power of His Mighty Hands
I wasn't beautiful or pretty nor a joy to look at
You see I was made like Him uncomely and lowly only to be spat at
I didn't see it before but now I know that I am God's cherished one
Not only that but it can't be undone
I wondered why the world hated me
I know now it's because it's You God that they see in me
I am grateful for being made in God's own likeness straight from His heart
For this reason, we are one and never worlds apart
My only desire now is to see His face
Not the way I see mine but in His Holy place
So don't ask me 'Why don't you change your appearance? because the truth is no matter how I look I am His dearest
I thank God for choosing me and I thank You Jesus for never loosing me
Until I see you in the Life hereafter
I'll just do my part and live with more joy, peace, hope, love, and laughter
