"Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD (Psalm 27:14)
Does It Seem As If You Are Experiencing Longer Wait Times?
If it seems as though you are experiencing longer wait times, you may need to check your faith. The scripture tells us to remain hopeful while we wait on the Lord. He is the one who gives us the capacity to accept, or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset; the Lord provides patience. There will be many things and ways that our faith in God will be tried. Don't get discouraged during these times. Develop patience, because patience helps to mature you in the ways of Christ. "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.(James 1:2-3).
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not (God doesn't keep score); and it shall be given him (James 1:5).
Ask God
If you need more wisdom or knowledge on how to patiently wait on God, ask Him for it. God is the one Who will strengthen us while we wait. He is the One Who teaches us via His Holy Spirit. Only God can do this for us as long as our Faith is in His Son Jesus Christ, and what He did for us on the Cross. Without faith it is impossible to please God; Don't waver in your faith because it shows instability and double-mindedness. (Hebrews 11:6, James 1:6-8).
